Introducer scheme.

Estate agents, accountants, financial advisers and solicitors: refer your clients to a brokerage that will treat them the way you would.

If you are an estate agent, accountant, IFA or solicitor whose clients regularly need mortgage or protection advice, we would like to talk. We pay competitive introducer fees, give you visibility on case progress, and treat your clients the way you would want to be treated yourself. Most of our introducer relationships are long-running and quiet; we earn the next referral by handling the last one well.

Who we work with

Four common introducer relationships. The principle is the same in each.

Estate agents

Refer buyers who need a mortgage or want an Agreement in Principle before viewing. We aim to return your call as quickly as we can, fast AIP, and we keep you in the loop on case progress so the chain does not surprise you.

Accountants

Self-employed and limited-company-director clients often need a broker who can read SA302s, dividend calculations and retained profit. We do, and we know which lenders treat each properly.

IFAs and wealth advisers

For protection, mortgages and bridging cases that sit outside an IFA permission set. We refer back when the client needs investment or pension advice, and we do not poach.

Solicitors

Conveyancing and family-law practices: we work with the solicitor of the client's choice, no panel lock-in. Cleaner cases, less back and forth, faster completions.

What we offer introducers

Practical commitments rather than a marketing pitch.

Competitive introducer fees

Fees agreed up front in writing, payable on each completed case. Structures vary by introducer relationship; we walk through what is fair given typical case volume and complexity.

Visibility on case progress

We update introducers proactively at the key milestones: AIP issued, application submitted, valuation booked, mortgage offer issued, exchange, completion. No need to chase.

A named adviser, not a call centre

Your client deals with a real adviser by name, not a queue. Wherever possible the same named adviser supports them from fact-find through to completion and future reviews.

How a referral works

Simple, four steps, FCA-compliant.

  1. 1

    Introducer agreement

We sign a short FCA-compliant introducer agreement that covers fee structure, the boundary of permitted activity (introduction only, no advice from your end), and how data is shared. Sesame Ltd provides the framework; we walk you through it.

  2. 2

    Pass the lead

Email, phone, web form, or a short structured handover. Whatever fits how you already work. We accept the referral with a confirmation back to you, then call the client within the same business day.

  3. 3

    We run the case

Fact-find, lender selection, application, protection conversation, completion. You get update emails at each milestone so you know where the case is without having to ask.

  4. 4

    Fee paid on completion

Introducer fee paid on completion of the mortgage, per the agreement. Statements monthly. Easy reconciliation, no quibbles.

The compliance position, briefly

Major Money Matters Ltd is an appointed representative of Sesame Ltd which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA reference 409534). Introducer relationships sit within the Sesame framework and are documented through a standard introducer agreement. Introducers do not provide advice on mortgage or protection products; the introduction transfers the client into our regulated advice process, which is where Consumer Duty, suitability, disclosure and ongoing servicing all sit.

Client data passed to us under an introducer agreement is shared on the basis set out in that agreement and handled under UK GDPR. We are the controller for the personal data we hold once a client enters our advice process, we use it only to provide the advice the client has asked for, and we do not sell it. Introducers are responsible for having a lawful basis for making the introduction and for telling their client that the referral is being made. Our privacy policy sets out how we hold and use client data.

If you have an existing introducer relationship with another network, we can discuss how to transition cleanly without breaching the existing arrangement.
